European Standard EV Charging Communication Controller EVCC

EVCC, short for Electric Vehicle Communication Controller, is a key core component in an overall EV charging solution. Without it, charging cannot be performed.

The charging communication protocol for new energy vehicles in China is GB/T 27930, while European charging communication protocols include IEC 61851-24, DIN 70121, and ISO 15118. Therefore, various new energy vehicles exported to overseas markets must be equipped with European and American standard charging communication controllers in order to charge properly. Likewise, exported charging stations also need to be equipped with a charging communication controller, known as SECC.
