What Is an AC Charger Motherboard / Controller?
The AC charger motherboard is the main PCB inside an AC wallbox. It handles: CP signal generation (IEC 61851-1), RCCB/RCBO control, relay/contactor control for AC power, energy metering, communication interfaces (Ethernet, 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi, RS485 for OCPP), and display/LED control.
